- Comfortable footwear is a must. The ground is uneven at the camp; even those of us who decide not to participate in the outdoor games will still want to avoid any footwear that might cause a problem getting from point A to point B.
- The bride and groom are going to be dressed down, ready to play. We will be in a sundress and summer slacks.
- The cabins provide amply space for changing, if you want to bring more than one outfit. But please don't bring less than one outfit. That would be awkward.
- If the weather is nice for the time of year, the pool will be open with a lifeguard on duty. Anyone who feels inclined to swim is more than welcome. Please bring a bathing suit and towel. You will have access to showers to rinse off and changing areas.
- We will have sunscreen and bug spray on hand, but we recommend you bring your own, just in case. In case there's some kind of solar-powered mosquitoes we haven't prepared for.
- Hats, sunglasses, and any other outdoor accessories you might normally use are recommended. Unless you're the kind of person who wears snow pants in June. Then we just recommend you get help.
- There are many nature trails on the grounds and again, weather permitting, we will have guides from the camp available to lead us on nature hikes. If you would like to participate, or explore the trails at your own pace, please bring footwear appropriate for some light hiking.
| This could be you, if you play your cards right |
- We plan to party all night and into the wee small hours, as we sit around the bonfire roasting marshmallows. We recommend sweaters and/or jackets for anyone who wants to join us.
For Our Overnight Guests
- Guests who RSVP that they would like to spend the night at the camp will be supplied a twin bunk in one of our two sleeping cabins. The camp will provide pillows and bedding. These are camp mattresses, however, and anyone with back sensitivity may want to bring a camping pad for additional support. And maybe a teddy bear for moral support.
- There are large, clean bathrooms for us all to use and share. We recommend overnight guests bring slippers or flip flops for nighttime bathroom breaks.
- Don't forget pajamas! We're talking summer camp sleepover here, so be a pal and put some clothes on, huh?
