The story of how we met...

In 1995, Meghan was just ten years old and living in Los Angeles with foster parents. Her mother had been preparing Meghan throughout her childhood for her future role as the leader of the human resistance, but was arrested and imprisoned at a hospital, leaving Meghan in foster care.

A killing machine was sent back in time to destroy Meghan, an advanced prototype composed of a mimetic poly-alloy that allowed the machine to take on the shape and appearance of anything it touched (short of complex devices such as guns or bombs), and transform parts of its anatomy into knives and stabbing weapons.

Meanwhile, in 2027, Paul was reprogrammed from his initial killing protocol, and instead was transformed into a cybernetic protector. Although his hardware was less advanced than the newer model of killing machines, he was nevertheless sent back in time by a future iteration of Meghan in order to safeguard her younger self.

Paul and Meghan came face to face for the first time in a shopping mall in Pasadena as the T-1000 tracked and cornered Meghan and was about to kill her. Paul appeared, wearing sunglasses, and a leather jacket, and...

Wait. This isn't the story of how we met. This is the plot of Terminator 2.

That movie kicked ass.
